Dr. Bennie Clark has dedicated his entire career to improving health and expanding access to healthcare for all. Outside of dentistry, he has two adult children, Sydney and Lyndsey. Dr. Clark is an avid golfer.
Experience
Dr. Clark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Florida A&M University. He followed an inner desire to have a more direct impact on his community therefore he studied at Meharry Medical College and the University of Florida receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree alongside his wife, whom he has been academically inseparable from since their undergraduate studies. Having been selected as a United States Public Health Scholar, he served with the US Public Health Corps in Ruskin, Florida before relocating to Jacksonville. His continued studies in Dentistry have been extensive. Namely, having received Fellowships in the International Congress of Oral Implant Dentistry as well as the American Dental Implant Association. Further, he is a member of the American Dental Association, National Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has served on the Board of Trustees at Jacksonville Country Day School, Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He is a member of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity and was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni by Florida A and M University along with his wife Dr. Lorraine Polite Clark.
